Working Condition

Sociologists are very lucky as they spend a large part of their day in pleasant offices, libraries and classrooms. They also spend time reading to keep up with rapid growth of the sociology field. Sometimes for their field study, they need to travel to remote areas or interviewing people from many different backgrounds. Thus, sociologists should be adapted to work independently and also know about interaction with a wide variety of people. Working hours are often flexible. They normally work for more than forty hours a week.
