Rohit Sardana is an Indian journalist, columnist, anchor and media personality. He rose to fame at Zee News while working as news presenter, executive editor and being a host for the channel's various popular Hindi language programmes. One of the most widely watched programmes hosted by Sardan at Zee News was Taal Thok Ke which is a debate programme that discusses contemporary social issues in India. He currently works at Aaj Tak news channel and hosts the show Dangal. Throughout his professional life, he had also worked with Sahara Samay, ETV Network and Akash Vani.
Rohit Sardana was born in Haryana, India. He did his schooling from haryana and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology after his undergraduate studies from 1997-2000. He obtained a postgraduate degree in mass communication from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology from 2000-2002. Sardana worked as a copy editor for as a trainee and learned several skills like that of anchoring, copy editing, production as well studied functioning of a 24 hour news channel. He worked as an assistant producer at Sahara Samay from the period of 2003-2004. It was after this time that he established himself at the Zee News channel as an anchor, news presenter and editor.
He also been involved in producing Karmakshetra which was a one of a kind news programme based on question answer format with Members of Parliament.
