Who Created your Favorite ‘Chupa Chups’: Salvador Dalí?

Today we will discuss here the colorful lollipops that have created their space in India and other countries since 1958. So it is not the just the shape, color, and magical taste but the logo of the brand that attract Indian children and even people of every age.

It was 1958 when these bright-flavorsome lollipops' brand was founded by Enric Bernat. It is believed that when Spaniard Enric Bernat began selling his stripy Chupa Chups lollipops, he spared no expense getting his business on the top. For better results, Bernat hired the world’s most famous surrealist artist, Salvador Dalí, to design a new logo.

Yes, you read it right, Dali, the best artist known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. Dalí was a skilled draftsman and his painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. Best known for artwork ‘The Persistence of Memory’ Dali was the one who created the familiar daisy symbol. Additionally, it was Dali’s idea that the logo of ‘Chupa Chups’ to be printed on top of the wrapper so that it was always fully displayed—a tip the candy maker seized upon.
