Before getting the award Kailash Satyarthi was relatively unknown to most of the people in India until he was recognized by Nobel committee and they announced to give Nobel Peace Prize to this great and splendid man. However, the incidence doesn’t mean that his earlier work had not been recognized at all in past. From UNISEF to United Nation, Kailash Satarthi was admired and honored everywhere for his work to eradicate child slavery from India.

Very few people would be aware with that even though he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014, but he was nominated many times in the past for his relentless campaign for defending child rights. Additionally, his ‘Bachpan bachao Andolan’ has freed more than 80,000 Children from slavery and child labor till now.
