Learn and Experience Time-Lapse Photography

08 Jul 17

Time Lapse photography is in use by various film makers these days. One will experience the art of time lapse in different scenes of movies and songs. In time lapse, when a video is played at a normal speed, time appears to move fast and thus lapsing.

Time lapse photography is defined as a technique where the frequency at which the film frames are captured is much lower than that used to view the sequence. This photography is opposite to slow motion or high speed photography. The subjects for time lapse photography in trend are landscapes and celestial bodies, plants growing and flowers opening, fruit rotting, evolution of a construction project and people in the city.

Some of the most beautiful time lapses are created by the movement of camera during the shot. To show extreme speed, a time lapse camera can be mounted over a running car.
