Parking has been a trouble that is growing each and every day with the rise in the number of vehicles. In a way to find out the solution to this problem the concept of Smart Parking has come. Smart Parking is the process to find out a parking area using Google's new Cloud IoT Core platform.  Smart parking uses sensors and advanced data analytics to make the parking experience more exciting. The Google's new Cloud IoT Core platform uses vehicle detection sensors that monitor the occupancy of parking spaces.

It is considered a very safe and secure platform. Initially Google Cloud IoT Core was developed to help businesses in the areas like utilities, transport and logistics, oil and gas and manufacturing to manage their expanding volume of smart devices and the IoT data they produce, from a central location of a particular area. Smart Parking was launched to the public in September 2017. At present it takes three to four days to configure it and for operational acceptance testing of the process. It guides the driver finding a parking space automatically and conveniently. AWS and Azure are the two different platforms that offer the same service; however, Google became the best choice due to its reputation in the market worldwide and for continuous innovation in technology. It is being hoped that Google Cloud IoT Core will help eliminating a lot of issues that we previously had to develop and manage for our infrastructure and smooth life.
