Barcelona’s 6-1 Against PSG Creates Historic Comeback

The people at Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona witnessed what none can expect to witness in his lifetime. The biggest, boldest comeback by a team in the Champions League history is by hitting 3 goals in 7 minutes. Such was the football match on Wednesday between the history-creators FC Barcelona and the defeated Paris Saint-Germain.

This was the first time in the Champions League history that a team overcame a 4-0 first-leg deficit turning their rival’s glory to dust. Barca also made the record for reaching the quarterfinals for the 10th straight season.

Barca’s Sergi Roberto stretched to turn home Neymar's dinked cross to cap the biggest comeback for his team. He scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time. FC Barcelona thrashed Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 making the aggregate score 6-5.

Luis Suarez's managed to bag an early opener for Barca. But things looked bleak after that. A Layvin Kurzawa own goal and Lionel Messi's penalty left Barcelona fans gasping. The team looked low and out of the league with the first leg ending at 0-4, when PSG’s Edinson Cavani volleyed home a vital away goal. However, Barca’s hope was reignited when Neymar shot a sensational free-kick two minutes from time and then converted from the penalty spot.

The final blow that Barca’s Roberto gave to PSG in the second leg sealed the victory for FC Barcelona. This winning goal from Roberto came in stoppage time taking the win to an altogether new level of adrenaline rush.
