 Chennaiyin FC and Kerala Blaster Ends With a Draw

A southern competition between Chennayin FC and Kerala Blaster were held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Chennai. The southern derby of Hero Indian Super League brought a goalless draw for defending champions Chennaiyin FC. During the first session, Team Chennaiyin FC played well and created ample of chances but could not get success. Kerala Blasters also gave a tough competition to the defenders in the second session.

As per the reports, despite having better chances team Kerala Blaster couldn't maintain their shots on target. The Chennaiyin FC take up the forth position after their second repeated draw with nine points from six matches. Team Kerala Blaster maintained their forward attainment by achieving nine points. Matches between these two teams over the past two seasons have been breath-taking with plenty of drama and goals.

Chennaiyin FC coach Marco Materazzi created five changes in the team. The coach preferred to start with Bernard Mendy at the place of marquee player John Arne Riise. Karanjit Singh was back in goal to occupy another international outfield player during the match.
