The Fifa U-17 World Cup is coming up and the Indian team is all set to get the best possible exposure before the commencement of the league. The tournament starts in October this year and the All India Football Federation (AIFF) is leaving no stone unturned in preparing the team for the on- field battle.
The Indian team will visit the United States of America as part of the preparations to pull up their socks and perform against professionals of the game. The team will then take off to Mexico to participate in a youth tournament where they will compete against the likes of big teams like Chile and Columbia. After Columbia, the team will travel to Australia and will compete against teams like Caledonia and New Zealand.
The boys are currently in Europe as part of the exposure trip and are giving positive results. The men in blue recently thrashed Spanish side Alcala, 11-1, which will boost their morale in many ways.
With less than 100 days to go before the World Cup, playing friendly matches against the top sides will surely benefit the team and add a lot to their experience.
