Fresh Enthusiasm on Day 11 of RBCL

The 11th day of RBCL began with fresh enthusiasm among all players. The opening match for the day was between Vasant Valley, Vasant Kunj and St.Thomas, Dwarka in Senior Boys’ Category. This match concluded in favour of St.Thomas, as they defeated Vasant Valley by 6 points.

Another exciting match was witnessed between the Senior Girls of Bal Bharti, Pitampura and New Green Fields School, Saket. New Green Fields School, Saket emerged victorious by a small margin of 2 points. Their coach, Mr.Manjot Singh looked very proud and happy.

The third match was between Mont Fort, Ashok Vihar and D.P.S, Vasant Kun. It was a smooth game between the Senior Girls of both the schools. It was an easy game but an aggressive one as Mont Fort won by 27 points.

Mr.Naroola, Coach, Mont Fort said on this occasion “It is not surprising as we win matches every day. It is like a daily routine for us. Our junior team also won the Tournament and I hope that we will win it in the senior category also.”

The fourth match was between D.P.S, Noida and ST.Thomas, Mandir Marg in the Junior Girls’ Category. The girls played very enthusiastically and in the end St. Thomas, Mandir Marg won by a small margin of 6 Points.

The fifth match was between D.P.S, R.K.Puram and Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura in the Junior Girls’ Category. It was a nail-biting match with a large audience watching the match. The girls of Sachdeva Public School played a very aggressive game. All throughout the game it was a do or die situation for both the teams. In the end D.P.S, R.K.Puram won by 5 points.

The next match was between G.D.Goenka, Vasant Kunj and Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri. Sanskriti School won by a very small margin of 2 points.

Mrs.Rashmi, Coach, G.D.Goenka, Vasant Kunj said that her expectations were high from the Senior Boys team as the Senior Girls had lost the match against D.P.S., R.K.Puram. Interacting further we got to know that she was looking forward to her team facing Modern School, Barakhamba Road, as she feels the latter is a very competitive team. Even if they lost the match it would be a great experience for her team.
