A new study has found the link between global warming and rise of ‘waterborn diseases’. The scientists have mentioned that rising temperatures can be the reason behind the growth of vibrio- infections.
Warterborn diseases that include food poisoning, fatigue and weight loss are caused by pathogenic micro-organisms, which most commonly transmitted in infected water. Vibrio-infection is caused by vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria that occur naturally in warm coastal areas.
