Highest Number of Baskets Scored On Day 8

Day 8 of RBCL started with light drizzles due to which only one court was available for the game. Altogether, there were four matches scheduled for the day. The first match was between two sister schools D.P.S, Noida and D.P.S, Faridabad in the Junior Girls’ Category. D.P.S, Noida won the match by 26 points. Even though it seemed as an easy win, D.P.S, Noida had a tough time competing against the rival team.
Mr. Manjit Sirohi, Coach, D.P.S, Noida proudly said “We are really thrilled after winning the match and are really elated and optimistic for the next match “
The next match was between A.S.N, Mayur Vihar and Mont Fort, Ashok Vihar in the Senior Boys’ Category. Mont Fort, Ashok Vihar succeeded in creating a history in the 22nd RBCL by scoring 72 points, the highest till now.
Mr. Narula, Coach, Mont Fort, proudly bragged off that his team is fully confident of winning the Finals. The players are really happy as the Primary team of their school has won the tournament in the Primary Boys’ Category. The senior team has qualified for the next round and are hoping to make it to the finals.
The Third match was between N.C. Jindal, Punjabi Bagh and Amity International, Noida in the senior boys’ category. It was a cake walk for Amity International School, Noida as they won the match by 50 points. N.C. Jindal succeeded in scoring only 3 points.
Mr. Rajkumar, Coach, Amity International, Noida said on this occasion that his boys had achieved their goal of defeating their rivals. He was thrilled with the victory of his team.
The final match for the day was between Sachdeva Public School, Rohini and Indian School, Sadiq Nagar in the Senior Boys’ Category. After a tough fight, Sachdeva Public School managed to win the match by 4 points.
