Hockey: India Won Asian Champions Trophy

India has won the 4th Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament against Malaysia. Ace drag-flicker, Rupinder Pal Singh helped the team to drag the victory on their side in the tournament which was happening in Malaysia in Kuantan.
Rupinder Pal Singh scored twice to aid India win in the crucial outing against Malaysia and top the league standings. During the match, India played well against Malaysia’s serious challenge. Team India had got a penalty while saving their citadel in the second half however they fought back against the competitors.
India topped five outings with four wins and a draw, waiting for the results for the last couple of games. Indian captain P.R.Sreejesh was not available for another game as he was recovering from his foot injury. Goalkeeper Akash Chikte has got the opportunity to play in the place of the captain Sreejesh. According to the reports during the important match, Chikte justified his capabilities and brought off some fine saves.
