India Wins Asian Champions Trophy Women's Hockey

After giving a tough competition to the competitors, India has won over Malaysia in Asian Champions Trophy Women's Hockey. Poonam Rani repeated the past after scoring a field goal in the seventh minute. Before Rani, Deepika doubled India's lead with a successful penalty corner change in the 45th minute.

The last minutes of the game were well played by the talented team players. During the last minutes of the game team India achieved 2-0 to win over Malaysia. This victory served Neil Hawgood-coached India to take seven points from three matches.

Team India had warned Japan by 2-2 before thrashing South Korea by 3-2. The Asian Champions Trophy Women's Hockey tournament was played in Singapore on November 1st. In the next tournament, the world No.12 team will face No.8 China in the final round-robin contest that will be played on 04 November. The top two teams at the end of the round-robin stage will directly be eligible for the final. The third and the fourth best teams will play to achieve the bronze medal on 05th November.
