Indian Women’s Hockey Team Beat Belarus 3-1

Indian Women’s Hockey team continued to show their fine form as they managed a third straight win in the five match series against Belarus. India outshined Belarus with a 3-1 win on Sunday. Rani was the star of the match for India as she scored two back to back field goals in the 35th and the 39th minute. The goals helped India come back stronger after Belarus had already taken a surprise lead.

The series is helping the team to gear up ahead of its Hockey World League Round 2 tournament in Canada this month. The first quarter of the match ended goalless. The Indian captain Rani, with her out-standing performance helped India clinch the third straight win. The third and final goal was scored by Deepika in the 42nd minute.
