Jude Felix: New Coach of Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team

As per the reports, the former captain, Jude Felix Sebastian is recently appointed as a coach for Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team. Hockey India completed the appointment following the team’s successful Europe tour. The trip contained nine players from last year’s junior men’s center group.

India’s best performance Director David John highlighted that the program is initiated by Hockey India in the past five-six years. He also added that the Hockey India is paying dividends with the juniors to pushing them for a spot in the senior team. This process also increases the talent pool in the new Olympic cycle, stated the Director.

Now, the 33-member junior men’s core group will train under Jude Felix to prepare for defending the World Championship title. David John stated that Jude Felix brings with him huge experience as former captain as well as a highly reputed coach. Under the guidance of Jude Felix the Hockey Federation is willing to strengthen the junior core group, said John.
