The FIH Junior Hockey World Cup is going to start from December 8, 2016 and will end on Dec-18. The championship will be played in Lucknow. This time the championship will start by Indian team as the team will play against Canada.
Team India is scheduled in group D with Canada, South Africa and England at the Junior Hockey World Cup. The officials are expecting high-speed, action packed game for hockey fans, at the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium. According to the reports this championship will be one of the most spirited hockey events of the year. During the match every rising player will play to be honor men's world champions as per the reports.
According to the officials the pool stages will hold from December 8 to 12 before the classification of matches. After the classification matches the medal matches will take place on December 18. Along with India and Canada, team New Zealand and Japan will also be seen in action on the opening day.
