PRO-WRESTLING LEAGUE SEASON 2 WITNESSES MASSIVE VIEWERSHIP

The Patanjali Powervita Pro-Wrestling League (PWL) Season 2’s viewership has outperformed the other popular existing non-cricket sporting leagues in the country. The WPL Season 2 which commenced on 2nd January 2017 in the Capital has witness a huge viewership of 5.41 crore.

The first season of KPL was watched by only 3.1 crore population. The data also surpassingly exceeds the Pro-Kabaddi League (PKL) Season-4, the Premier-Badminton League (PBL), and the Kabbadi World Cup (KWC).

Further, the average viewer spent 17 min 26 seconds standing in the first week. In the second week, this climbed to 19 min and 50 seconds. This leap of 22% in the time spent shows that the fan-fare has grown better and bigger.

The league is being broadcasted live from 7 to 9 pm in Sony ESPN and Sony Max. Sony Liv is live streaming it. The data given is a measure of the viewers’ number at any given point of time during the match’s telecast.

The happy promoters and organizers of the Pro-Wrestling League, ProSportify, stated "Another season and a wonderful response from the audience have only encouraged us to take the sport of Kushti to great heights.”
