RBCL-2017

The morning of 17th December echoed with the nervousness of the players and last minute warm-ups in the chilly weather. The first match was between Apeejay School, Saket and Venketeshwara, Dwarka in the primary boys' category. The audience claimed the match to be a nail-biting one at the end of which Appejay School defeated Venketeshwara.

The second match was between Dynasty International School, Faridabad and Father’s Agnel School. Father’s Agnel won the match with a lead 25 points. The third match was between Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, and The Mann School, Halambi. This match was much cheered upon by the audience. Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan proved to be a tough competition for their rivals as they won the match with the lead of 30 points. 

The fourth match of the day was between Sachdeva School, Pitampura and Amity International, Noida. It was a nail-biting match as Amity International, Noida bagged the trophy with a lead of 25 points. The next match was between Blue Bells, East of Kailash and The Mann School, Halambi. Blue Bells won the match with a lead of 20 points. The sixth match of the day was between Ramjas School, R.K.Puram and Ramjas School, Anand Parbat. This match proved to be the most interesting match of the day as the whole school echoed with the cheers and applause of the audience. 

Many people were present to see their school playing. Ramjas School, R.K.Puram didn’t let the audience down and won the match with a lead of 12 points. On being asked about their feelings and strategy for the next games, Devesh Bhatti of Ramjas School, R.K.Puram answered that the team was on cloud 9 as it was a very tough match. The team also appreciates the audience for believing in them and cheering for them that boosted their confidence. He said that the team needed to work a little bit more on the stamina for the upcoming matches.
