Responsible Factors for Human Bond

The scientists have found that it is dopamine responsible for the human bond. The scientists have claimed that this study as one of its kind. The researchers analyzed the brain’s reward system into our understanding of how we form human attachments. The results have important implications for therapies addressing postpartum depression as well as disorders of the dopamine system.

The scientists stated that the infant's brain is very different from the mature adult brain and infants are completely dependent on their caregivers.

Additionally, the scientists said, that there are some important factors which are needed for the development of a normal brain, the right kind of nutrients, social attention, proper food timing etc.

To perform the research the scientists used novel technology: a machine capable of performing two types of brain scans simultaneously. Additionally, a functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI, and positron emission tomography or PET also used by the scientists to conduct the study.
