The movement of “Digital India” that was announced by PM Narendra Modi has become the trend of the nation. Every school is trying to ensure that their school isn’t left behind in this flow of digitization. The excitement reflects in the data that shows, more than 3000 schools across 300 cities in India have turned digital with the help of Free to use mobile app – Teno.
Communication methods have been completely digitized with this app. It is an easy to use app that enables the schools to communicate with parents about the updates with a simple click that was previously done by printing methods. Recently Teno has launched its Free Online School Fee Payment feature. It is a result of the recent CBSE board mandate regarding schools having to compulsorily provide a cashless payment mode to parents. In today’s busy schedule most of the parents does not have the time and patience to go to the bank for paying fee for their wards. At the same time receipts for cheque payments were given after clearance only that used to take several days.
Teno has made it easier by providing its school fee payment feature completely free to schools. Schools that are already using the app can easily activate this feature for free and the rest can register for it free of cost. A digital payment receipt is received by the parents as soon as the payment is completed.
