The India FIFA U-17 team will have two boys from Gurgaon playing at the prestigious event. The tournament will be held in India this year. The two boys named Bhupender and Mohit Gehlot are students of Vedas International School in Gurgaon and are presently with their team in Europe. This trip to Europe is pre-world cup exposure tour for them. The boys come from a middle class family and are travelling abroad for the first time.
They both regularly play for their school teams and this is the first time that they will be playing on an international level. The boys are right now in Barcelona and further will be touring places all across Europe. Meanwhile they will be playing with the clubs and national teams from Italy. They are excited to play at such a level during the World Cup in the month of October. The school administration of the Vedas School is planning to give the boys a grand welcome after their return from Europe.
This is the first time that India is being the host to this tournament. We hope the Indian team performs well and brings the trophy home.
