Deniel Kale, the last solder or a witness of ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ died peacefully in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Daniel kale took his last breath at a health center where he was admitted because of his deteriorating health. A Long time illness has been considered the reason behind the death of 95 years old Kale. According to the reports Deniel Kale was taken cared by Ashok Rokadet in his last days.
Ashok Rokade is known as the founder of a civilian rescue force. Daniel was born in Panhala tehsil of Kolhapur in September 1920. He had joined Rasbihari Bose's Indian Independence League in 1942. Kale was later transferred to Indo-Burma border by the league after merging in the Azad Hind Fauj.
According to Ashok Rokade, Kale was from a division of the Fauj’s Secret Service group. Secret group used to collect information and passed it out to the top leadership of Fauj, explained Rokade. As per the official Mr. Kale is known to be the last fighter of the Fauj which was founded by Subhash Chandra Bose.
