“The Rock” Discloses his Interest in Cricket

Hollywood super star Dwayne Johnson, who is also known as a wrestler ring name, The Rock'', is developing his understanding of the game of cricket. During a video interview he said to his millions of Indian fans, that cricket is country's "national obsession".

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's helicopter shot, the ramp shot and a slow bouncer delivery was shown to Johnson. He wished all the very best to the Indian Cricket team for upcoming challenges. He had come to promote his movie "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" that is to be released in India on December 29. He gave funny answers replying to the signals of umpire. When he was shown an umpire signaling 'out' for the batsman, the actor replied that it meant "You are number one". When he was told the correct answer, he asked his fans to bear with him. Answering about the signal for a 'six', he said that it meant, "Who loves The Rock? We do!" which he likened to the home run in baseball terminology. Whatever was the right answer, but Rock won the heart of his millions of fans. He had shown his keen interest in cricket and India too.
