They prefer to eat what looks tasty and colorful.
Despite bright colors with refreshing taste fruits and vegetables, unfortunately, fail to attract children. According to experts, fruits and vegetables contain vitamin C that is also known as an antioxidant. As per the studies, antioxidant plays an important role in children’s body.
Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and immune supporter also it builds the protein collagen and enhancing the absorption of iron in the body. The experts also suggest that Vitamin C protects body cells from the damage caused by free radicals such as cigarette smoke, ultraviolet radiation, and air pollution. One thing the parents should always remember that the recommended daily intake (RDI) of vitamin C for children is 8: 35mg/day for children at age 1 and 18:40mg/day for children at the age of 9.
