CBSE Class 12th Board Exams are not yet over but many colleges have already started the admission process. In their most recent 'student-friendly' initiative, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a list of 113 courses that the students can pursue after passing Class 12. The list provide additional details on the courses too like name of the college, eligibility criteria and other details related to the course.

"As a sequel to the ongoing initiatives, CBSE has prepared a compendium of suggestive courses for student which will help them get information about various course choices, institutes and combinations available in higher education after class 10 itself," said Chairperson, CBSE, Anita Karwal in an official statement.

India has more than 900 universities and 41,000 colleges that are providing quality graduation courses. Through the list, CBSE has tried to include the most renowned, new age and popular courses taught in the institutions.

The students are now moving away from the classic engineering and medical career choices in hope to do something they actually want to pursue in the life. The compilation will help develop curiosity in the students to explore more options, possibilities and look for other options beyond these courses too.

There are several universities that have already started with the admission process like JNU, Lucknow University etc. Even DU (University of Delhi) is also likely to begin the admission process early this time, with registrations expected to start from 15th April and finishing on 7th May 2019.
