They suggested that some most often requested features might hit the console soon. One of the most popular games might be about to get a new update. Most recently, the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app was updated on the iOS and the company referenced to Switch Firmware 5.0.0 within the notes. These subtle hints in the form of notes were very first spotted by Twitter user Wario64.

Since the Nintendo Switch has not seen any update since 4.1.0 in December, this upgrade could be highly significant for the company and its users. There are a lot of users from the forum ResetEra that are hoping the new system update of the Nintendo 5.0.0 could finally allow the players to add up some kind of cloud save solution to the console. This would help them in uploading their saved games and backup any of the crucial playtime data. Without a doubt, Nintendo is one of the best consoles released in the past few years. Switch lacks this capability but we are hoping that the updated version fills this disadvantage too.
