New Delhi, April 4 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal alongside his agent Manish Sisodia, Delhi Education Minister, has collaborated with educators, Seemant Dhawal, CEO, Meraki Foundation and Vinay Bhushan, Director, Deptt. Of Education, Delhi and guardians of the considerable number of schools in the city on 4 April and helped them in ''Parenting in the times of Corona''.
Addressing the media, Kejriwal said overall the Delhi schools, including the private and MCD schools, around 44 lakh youngsters are enlisted. All the schools are shut because of the lockdown. Every one of these youngsters is at their homes posing such a significant number of inquiries. The guardians can't manage the inquiries. So, on 4th April at 3 p.m. he addressed the youngsters and guardians.
All the schools over the city and nation are shut because of the three-week lockdown forced by the precautions to control the spread of coronavirus.
Before the session, few children asked questions like
1. A 5-year-old girl asked –“Are we all going to die”?
2. If I am not ill, then why you are not allowing me to go outside?
3. What will happen to the labor, who earn and live life on daily wages?
4. How to get rid out of the negativity, when we are fully surrounded by the corona’s news?

The educationists, CM Kejriwal told the answer to these questions very beautifully. They said parents should explain to their children how this virus spreads among the people. How parents should play game with them and bring positive vibes in them. Parents should ask their children to express their emotions, opinions as much as they can so that they are not trapped by negative feelings.

Following the session, the parent had also asked the question that when schools are closed then why they should pay the fees of the school.
Replying to the question Manish Sisodia said in private schools, teachers and workers get salary from the student’s fees. If parents will not pay the fees, then it will be a problem for the teachers and workers. He asked parents to come-up for the discussion of this question to find out better results.
Furthermore, he also asked for the parent’s opinion on a child’s question, that what if the lockdown extends, then does the child’s summer vacation will be cancelled?
Manish Sisodia expressed his views and said that in the month of May, June it is extremely hot weather to bear, so we are unable to find the answer. So, he asked for the parent’s opinion.

In the end, the entire panelist asked to use these lockdown days wisely and to change all these days into a positive opportunity.
