Survey Reveals India's 10 Fastest Growing Jobs Are In Tech

A report based on data analysis done between the years 2013 and 2017 of millions of members on LinkedIn reveals that top five along with top 8 of top 10 fastest growing job sector in India is based on technology. Here is a list:

1. Machine-Learning Engineer
2. Application Development Analyst
3. Back-End Developer
4. Full-Stack Engineer
5. Data Scientist
6. Customer Success Manager
7. Digital Marketing Specialist
8. Big Data Developer
9. Sales Recruiter
10. Python Developer

Just a few years ago, most sorted out job was software engineer and business analyst but that has now changed. The list bolsters the idea that there is more demand for technology specialist who has a clear new skill set.

A lot of businesses in India in all the sectors such as banking, finance, manufacturing, media & entertainment, professional services, retail etc. have shifted their focus to big data and digital products. So, there is a massive demand for machine learning and data scientists.

It is also quite clear that most of the companies who employ these people hire them when they have a normal bachelor’s degree and then, train them. Firms think it is more cost-effective to do so. Highly-qualified students who have these degrees will also demand a fat cheque to work.
