Cricket lovers now have more opportunities to enjoy because the test matches are going to be held at Thiruvananthapuram or may be Barsapara in Assam. As per the officials, these two new venues Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and Barsapara in Assam are in friction to host Test matches during the home series against Sri Lanka.
The news has come all the way from the cricket officials that as India is set to play a record 23 international matches at home between September and December. BCCI’s Tours and Fixtures Committee in Kolkata is planning to take a decision on the venue soon.
The BCCI officials have also quoted that India will play five ODIs and three T20 Internationals against Australia from September end to mid of October. The officials have also added that the series will be accompanied by three ODIs and as many T20Is against New Zealand. The series against the Black Caps Kiwis will begin late in October and close in the first week of November.
