Marketing Ka Funda
At Bal Bhavan, we believe in nurturing a culture of activities which are experiential in nature through which the students also get to enjoy themselves. Our recent Inter-house event MARKETING KA FUNDA, gave our young entrepreneurs, an opportunity to promote and ensure maximum buyers for a set of products which were allotted to them. It was no less than a wonder, the way students came up with their presentation. Besides leaving us in awe it also gave us hopes and encouragement for being more creative with our blueprints in future.
Coming one step closer in the journey of becoming a Microsoft showcase school, various teachers of Bal Bhavan successfully earned the title of MIEE, Microsoft Innovative Education Expert. It was a successful voyage under the guidance of the Edu Leader, our esteemed Principal Mr. Vividh Gupta that the mentors of the school worked with great passion and enthusiasm in order to realize the dream of shaping 21st Century learners.
Mapping the Virtual World
Touring and Travelling is always fun, and interactions and communications with people world around all the more interesting. This year may be a year of Pandemic for the rest of the world, however, for the students and educators around the world, this year was an experience never before. From Virtual classes to the virtual schools, virtual events and great technical niches being created, everything had been a new and innovative experience for all students and educators. On the whole, it changed the concept of education and gave it a new definition.
Yet another exclusive experience that schools around the world explored and ventured was interacting with the students, educators and schools across the nations; sharing cultures and education world amongst students around the world. Few of our school teachers and students too undertook this experience through online sessions through Microsoft Teams and through Skype and grabbed an opportunity to interact with students and educators of different nations and thus travelled a certain miles virtually. For students, it was a delightful and learning experience. For teachers, it had been all the more a new experience and a technical advancement. Our students sought an opportunity to interact with students and educators of South Korea, Siberia, Nigeria, United Kingdom, in which they shared their cultures and learning during the Pandemic.

Another Milestone Achieved by the BAL BHAVANITES!!! It is a matter of immense pride that Bal Bhavan Public School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi has made its mark in the list of India’s Top Co-Ed Schools. We have secured 43rd Rank in Delhi declared by prestigious Education World in EW SCHOOL RANKING 2020-21. BBPS GlenGaze MUN
The School achieved yet another milestone by successfully organizing the first Virtual Inter School MUN (Model United Nations) on 03 October, 2020 in collaboration with Fairgaze. The students were enthralled to be a part of such an extravagant platform for debating international issues, drafting resolutions to combat issues, and to socialize.
Fit India Freedom Run
Bal Bhavan Public School has been conducting various activities for physical, emotional, and mental well-being of students, teachers and parents. The school participated in the Fit India Freedom Run from August 15 to October 2, 2020, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports’ Fit India Movement.
With the motto “Running: the human body’s most raw form of Freedom”, the event aimed to encourage fitness and help all citizens to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases, and so on.
Celebration of 74th Independence Day
Blending in the spirit of patriotism, this year the celebration of India’s 74th Independence Day was held virtually on platforms like Facebook and Youtube. Even in the times of extended lockdown, the school Continued the age-old tradition of paying tribute to the martyrs through some extraordinary online performances. However, the highlight of the event remained the customary Flag Hoisting, by school’s Hon’ble Director, Mr. B. B Gupta and School Principle, Mr. Vividh Gupta.
The event was aimed to foster dignity and respect towards the sacrifices of those soldiers, who till their last breath didn’t let their mother land bow. Through a set of various musical, dance and dramatic performances, the sense of National Pride was evoked in the youngsters. The celebration also emphasized on the initiatives of developing a Self-Reliant India and Vocal for Local-promoting Local products of India.
Results for School’s online Art Exhibition which was organized in commemoration to the celebration of Independence Day was yet another illuminator to the event. Through posters and drawings created via Autodesk Sketchbook and Minecraft Software, the idea to battle COVID and respect the Corona Warriors was promoted. Since the exhibition was conducted online, the students got an opportunity to showcase their work to a larger set of audience while recei ving their responses.

We at Bal Bhavan Public School, believe in inculcating not merely the content but the context of life in the student, providing them the skills to write their destinies meaningfully. Amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, the school has paved a way to online education for its learners, to continue teaching during the pandemic, through Microsoft Teams app. This has allowed students to attend classes from the comfort of home and tap their way into virtual classrooms. Teachers have also explored orientation sessions on how to adapt to online classes and make learning fun and effective through virtual classes.
These educators are focusing on educating children so that they can take forward primary values, culture and learning, and keep them alive. This is being possible with a holistic, empathetic and adaptive audit of online learning which includes, without prejudice, every child in the community with compassion and care. Adopting and extending this unique essence, we are ready to make even a boat sail in an ocean.
Connecting Home And School Makes Us A Great Community Of Learners!
The Parent-Teacher Meeting is the most crucial event of the year as it gives teachers and parents, an opportunity to connect and bond for the benefit of their children. It allows parents to express and discuss with the teacher, their concerns, and hopes for their children's future.
Lending new dimensions to the ‘Home-school-partnership’ on 30 May,2020 BBPSMV organised its first virtual parent-teacher meeting via Microsoft Teams (a video conferencing app). Conducting this effective parent-teacher conference has surely boosted family involvement in the classroom and helped to promote positive outcomes for teachers, students, and school.

Learning is fundamental to teaching; thus teaching and learning are inseparable. We believe, it is imperative that a teacher continues to learn and grow in the teaching profession through various methods, sources and avenues. Becoming extremely aware of the present situation of online teaching Bal Bhavan Public School has promoted learning among teachers to conduct effective and interesting live sessions with students.
The teachers of BBPSMV are attending webinars and live sessions which provide with invaluable information about the pedagogy, life skills and cover a wide spectrum of subjects, including effective teaching methods, tips to improve student engagement and online professional development. Each webinar is presented by a professional and gives the opportunity to explore innovative teaching strategies.
And this is how we are enabling these educators to tackle every possible hurdle and contribute their share to make this society a better place to co-exist.

“Say No To Tobacco and Yes To Life”
An awareness session on ‘Say No to Tobacco’ by Mr. Nishant Garg, (An eminent judge at Delhi Judicial services and is presently posted on deputation as Additional coordinator Delhi International arbitration center, Delhi High Court) on the account of ‘World No Tobacco Day’ was conducted on 31st May 2020, guiding students of classes 10th to 12th on the ill effects of consuming tobacco and the consequences of selling it illegally.
The webinar underlined the theme of WHO i.e. ‘Protecting youth from industrial manipulation and preventing them from tobacco and nicotine use’. The students actively participated in this session and placed their queries which were effectively resolved by Mr. Nishant Garg in an interactive manner by giving live examples of advertisements. It was truly an interesting and eye-opening session.
Mental Wellbeing- A Rising Concern During Covid 19
Wellness simply means blossoming in life in all dimensions - being happy, at ease with yourself and with those around you.
The Health and Wellness club organized a webinar on International Yoga Day. The webinar focused on the theme "Mental wellbeing- a rising concern during COVID 19.
The spoke person Mrs. Bharti Munjal, Art of Living presented a talk on the perfect balance of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Knowledge. It was designed to take through various effective and practical wellness practices that invite health, wealth, and happiness into life.
