Nursery Graduation Ceremony was celebrated with great zeal in of GHPS, Hemkunt Colony on 20th March, 2019. Chief Guest, S. Harmeet Singh Kalka, General Secretary, DSGMC and other distinguished guests graced the occasion with their benign presence. The programme began with the recitation of the ’Shabad’ by the honorable guests, The Principal Ms. Gurpreet Singh and Headmistress Ms. Maninder Kaur Nagra. A beautiful and colorful cultural programme was presented by the Nursery class students. The ‘Welcome Song’with its Zing mesmerized the audience .’Welcome Address’ was given by the Principal to welcome and thank the Chief guest, other honorable guests and the parents for their whole support and kind presence. To highlight the values of sharing is caring, an English story of ‘The Little Red Hen ‘ was presented by students which was highly appreciated by the audience. To stress the importance of’ Maa Boli- Punjabi’, an amazing skit was presented by students. ‘Bhangra’ -The folk dance of Punjab was presented with great enthusiasm and added fun and frolic to the fabulous programme. The Prize Distribution ceremony was done to felicitate the nursery students for their outstanding performance in various fields of education. The ‘Vote of Thanks’ was proposed by The Headmistress of our school and Nursery Graduation Ceremony concluded with the National Anthem

Guru Harkrishan Public School, Hemkunt Colony tells the students of their school about Guru Nanak Dev and his bravery at the battlefield in their Gurmat Summer camp which was specially organized for the students of class III to VIII. The students were involved in several activities which will help them in their physical as well as mental growth.

The GHPS Society organized a Summer Camp "Gurmat" in all the 12 branches of Guru Harkrishan Public School. The word "Gurmat" explains out all about the Summer Camp as ‘Gur’ means wisdom and ‘Mat’ means belief. The Camp was based on learning the norms, ethics, culture and tradition of Sikhism. Various activities like Turban Tying, Language Learning, Shabad Recitation, Gatka, Motivational Talk, Folk Song etc. were performed by the students. The motive of the camp was to bring the students close to the pure essence of tradition and divinity through fun based activities.
