Blood donation

Students were taught to be social responsible citizens and be sensitive to humanity through Blood Donation Camp.A total unit of 319 collected by the donation of Parents alumni & outsiders .

Students express their views on blood donation through Poster, poem& slogan writing and cultural presentation

Kerala Relief Contribution

Staff and Parents stood by two side of victim of Kerala flood .They whole hearted by contribution in cash for the people in distress. The collected amount was given to the relief fund

CBSE Workshop

In order to update teachers with the changing methods of Pedagogy and remodeled Assessment a workshop was organized by CBSE. Around 53 teachers participated in it. The resource person in an affection & interactive manner shared the changes in Secondary Level Blue Print.

REPORT OF INDEPENDENCE DAY

72nd Independence Day was celebrated with full patriotic fervor and zeal. Colourful programme full of information, knowledge and the spirit of patriotism was presented on the occasion. The programme commenced by unfurling the tricolor flag commemorating the sovereignty of our nation. Head Girl (XII) Shreya Sachdeva welcomed the gathering and expounded the meaning of true patriotism and role of youth in fighting social evils. The programme was conducted by Mrs Gurleen Kaur , Mrs Gurpreet Kaur along with the students .

Inter House Group Dance Contest for classes VI-VIII and IX-XII was organized which saw a wholehearted participation. Students sang songs, recited poems in the honour of the great men who shed their blood for the nation. Principal Mrs. S. Bathla, in her address to the students motivated the students to come forward and contribute their mite in the process of national development and work hard to accomplish their dreams. Vote of thanks was proposed by Head Boy, Dishant (XII). The programme concluded with distribution of sweets to the students

Science Exhibition

In order to facilitate innovative & creative approach Mukand Lal Public School  hosted exhibition  of Eco friendly  homework  which provided platform to the students to view the homework in a prospective.

Ms. S. Bathla (Principal) motivated the students to think out of box and got inspired by the thought process of great Scientist, Historians and Writers.

Different department showcased the new approach in their subject through various working models. The highlights of the exhibition were two new Apps develop by Science students.

World Environment Day

“The world is in the  grip of a  serious threat of environment pollution . The result is threat to the very existence of humanity and life on this green planet . To save mother earth from this blanket of pollution, sustainable efforts are required specially by the youth who are the future leaders. To make them aware about the  issue  consistent efforts are required’

A bove mentioned are  the motivational word of principal Mrs. S.Bathla Mukand Lal Public School while addressing the students on the occasion of World Environment Day .

On this occasion the merit holder students of class X ,who scored above 90% in CBSE class X Board 2018 took  part  .School principal Mrs.S.Bathla  ,Teachers and students planted saplings of Neem and Molsari  and took pledge to nurture these along with trees and plants in the vicinity .Thus, they will  be the torch bearers to control global warming by contributing their bit.

Along with this to spread awareness among the citizens of Yamunanagar   school students and their mentor Mr. Gaurav Prashar  staged  street play at various prominent places of city such as Local Bus stand , Jagadhri  yamunanagar , Railway Station and Nehru park . The aim was to aware the localsin an effective manner,  through the acting skills of children, who  told about pollution ,deforestation and specially about harmful effects of mobile radiations. The high light of the street play was the old, tired and polluted ganga requesting all to help her and help environment .

Locals appreciated the efforts of the students and school.
