Junior Sports Fiesta

S.D. Public School, Pitampura celebrated Junior Sports Fiesta on February 15, 2020, with great pomp and show. The celebration kicked off with the welcome address by the Principal of the school, Ms. Anita Sharma where she highlighted the role of exercise and physical activity in a child’s physical and mental development. Mr. Vijayan Bala, an educationist and a Retired school Principal graced the occasion as a  Chief Guest in the event. All sporting activities were designed to focus the gross motor skills to further ensure the holistic development of children.

Tiny tots of L.K.G presented the welcome dance. Students from Nursery to Class 3 participated in different races like hoisting the flag race, navy marshal race, CRPF jawans’ beating obstacles, Bee and the Flower race, etc. The spectators were spellbound to witness the creative races and applauded loudly to cheer the little participants. The parents were glued to their seats when they witnessed a variety in cultural programs which stole their heart. The program included karate, aerobics, skating, dumble drills and many more. Parents were taken back to their childhood times through various games like dress up your child race and lemon and spoon race.

The program came to an end with the beautiful finale wherein all the kids came on the stage altogether to spread the message BE FIT, BE A HIT. The esteemed chief guest addressed the gathering and boosted the confidence of the SDPians with his kind words. The event was indeed well organized with great efforts put up by little ones and their teachers and it will remain in the heart of all for years and years.

Adventurous Activities

Kids had a gala time when they were exposed to creative adventurous activities.
Innovative activities under the beautiful sun rays were enjoyed by the tiny tots.
They were happy to run and roll and participated with zeal.
A variety of games with physical exercises were done like crawling like a commando, walking on lines, pick an object and place it on another one and many more.
Children had a great time when they performed these activities.

हवन समारोह

सनातन धर्म पब्लिक स्कूल, पीतमपुरा ने विद्यार्थियों के आशीर्वाद समारोह में किया हवन
सनातन धर्म पब्लिक स्कूल, पीतमपुरा में प्राचार्या श्रीमती अनीता शर्मा की अध्यक्षता में कक्षा 12 वीं के छात्रों के लिए विद्यालय में 17 दिसम्बर को आशीर्वाद समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस शुभावसर पर विद्यालय के प्रांगण में हवन- यज्ञ का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें विद्यालय के कक्षा 12 वीं के छात्र – छात्राओं ने अपने कक्षा अध्यापकों एवं विषय अध्यापकों के साथ मिलकर विधिवत् मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ हवन में आहुतियां प्रदान कीं और परीक्षा में सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए परमात्मा से प्रार्थना की।

71st Republic Day Event in S. D. Public School

The fervor of patriotism gripped S.D. Public school.BU Block, Pitampura as 71st Republic Day was celebrated in the school on 24th Jan 2020. The event triggered with the unfurling of the National Flag & melody of National Anthem in the air.
The chief guest for the occasion was Dr.R.B Solanki (VC, Chaudhary Ranveer Singh University, Jind, and Haryana). Dr. R.B Solanki has been awarded with many awards &International felicitations. The chairman of the school Sh. K.L Bansal & office bearers welcomed Dr. Solanki with flowers and the event began with the melody of group song (Hum Sab Bhartiya Hain), this induced energy in the audience and geared up the students once again to live for their nation. The primary students presented the guard of Honour to the Chief Guest and dignitaries as they marched in the battalions depicting Army, Navy, and C.R.P.F & Delhi Police.

The school Principal Ms. Anita Sharma presented the school report showcasing the achievements of the students. Ms. Anita Sharma spoke about the motto of the institution that is upgrading the consciousness of the students for the cause of righteousness in human beings which must be an eternal quality in every student of the school. Not only the infrastructure, the staff & the students have been the achievers of immense potential in the field of academics and sports.
The cultural programme with the theme _ एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत started with the skit about contribution and efforts of Sardar Patel, the skit imparted knowledge and information about newly inaugurated statue of Unity in Gujarat which is 790. feet high and also one of the 8 wonders of the world. Students presented the benefits of Yoga in very aesthetic manners on the foot-tapping beats of Vedic mantras. The music & yogic asanas were in perfect coordination while honoring goddess Saraswati. The audience enjoyed rich information on regional and cultural heritage of India in the form of folk dances from states of India such as Kashmir, Kerala, Gujarat ,UP, Rajasthan and Haryana thus integrating a vast & diverse nation into one string of “unity in diversity “. Anecdote from the life of Dr. B.R Ambedkar was depicted to sensitize the students about equality and humanity. With the song “Ek, Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” the cultural event concluded.

Dr. R.B Solanki congratulated the audience on the occasion of 71st Republic Day, he expressed elation for being a part of the event and appreciated the theme & performance of the students. He was happy that a substantial message has been conveyed by the cultural event. He stressed upon the fact that all students must be successful & happy citizens of this great country.
The scheme to promote education for Girls was launched by the school – (Beti Padhao, Desh Badhao.)
The event concluded with the presentation of memento to the Chief Guest and vote of thanks by the school Chairman.

Picnic To Mojo Land

Our School organized a picnic to MOJOLAND, Sonipat for classes 6th to 8th on 24 December 2019. the timings were from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. the school buses Departed at 8:30 a.m. from the school premises. after a delightful journey of one hour, the buses reached there (with total strength of around 150 students and few staff members) first of all everyone had a hearty breakfast and then the adventure began. students enjoyed several thrilling rides like the octagonal adventure tower, flying Fox, rocket ejection and many more. there were some daring activities also like the free fall and Sky cycling. 

The students played archery and other shooting games and polished their skills. The teachers too had a great time there. Rock climbing, tyre walk, Tarzan swing, Commando net, zipline, and other such activities filled the air with vehemence and passion. the DJ was just the cherry on the cake .bagging tons of amusing and adventurous memories with them, the students and the staff members returned to the school at 5:00 p.m.

Excursion to Deva Farms

An adventure excursion for classes Nursery- V was organized on 19.12.19 to Deva Farms, Alipur. CAMP DEVA is designed for enjoying a lot of Adventure Activities, Fun and Breath Fresh Air throughout the day. A naturally build and ECO-Friendly world in Delhi but outside its busy and congested area. 

CAMP DEVA is famous for its Adventure Activities, Village Activities, Water Based Activities, Team Building Activities, Quality Foods, Qualified and Technical Support Team, Behaviour and Hospitality. The students enjoyed and got exposure to a variety of activities like: Commando crawling, river crossing, zip line, Burma bridge, camel ride, tractor ride, dancing . It was a fun-filled day for the students.
