Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s day celebrations focused on children and their enjoyment. The short program started with prayer. After that teachers told their students why do we celebrate this children’s day? It is celebrated on 14th November to pay the tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as Chacha Nehru. The children came in fancy dresses and walk on a ramp. Students were awarded with certificates. One selfie corner was also made. These events not only brought out varied talents in every child, they also help to build a sense of confidence and spirit of participation, which is more important than winning and losing. Teachers made takeaways for their children’s as a gift.
Children's Day
Children’s Day is celebrated every year in our school. It was celebrated on 14th November, 2019 with great pomp and show in the school premises. A drawing and slogan making competition was held in the school. Children made beautiful posters. Food and game stalls were also arranged for the children. Some children were dressed like Chacha Nehru. The biography of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was told to the students. The teachers and students enjoyed the day very much.
Self Defense Workshop
An activity of Self Defence was arranged on 16th November, 2019 in the school premises. Special trainers were invited to teach the rules and techniques of self defence. Children were told the importance of Self defence. Different types of competitions like Judo, Karate and Yoga were held. In. the end, the winners were given awards.
Dussehra Celebration
Dussehra was celebrated in the school on 4th October, 2019. It is celebrated to teach the students the triumph of Lord Rama over evil, injustice and falsehood. The effigies of Ravana were made. The students played the role of Rama, Lakshman, Seeta and Ravana. The entire activity was just like the real Ramayana. Parents were also invited to see the whole activity and they appreciated the whole activity.
Poshan Mela
An activity about Healthy Foods was organised on 11th October, 2019. The students were asked about the importance of food. After that the teachers told them that food is our basic need and we cannot live without food. We eat different kinds of food items in different seasons. So, we should eat vegetables, fruits, grains and pulses to remain fit. Milk is very important for all the human beings. We should eat fresh and healthy food. We should be more concerned about the use of hygienic and clean atmosphere.
Pool Party Conducted At Goodwill Public School, Uttam Nagar

Goodwill Public School, Uttam Nagar organised a pool activity on 17th July, 2019. The little ones of Pre - Primary welcomes the showers of rain with their pool activity. Bubbling with excitement and enthusiasm, in their colourful swim suits the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool activity, jumping in the water, splashing water on their friends and playing with their floating toys.
Green Colour Day Celebrated At Goodwill School
Green day celebration (the colour of prosperity and harmony). Green day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Pre - Primary wing on 27th July, 2019. The Playgroup, Nursery and K.G students and teachers came to school dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco - friendly. Playgroup students performed poems, show and tell activity had been conducted by class Nursery and K.G. students wore cutouts of fruits and vegetables and spoke a few sentences in front of the children and teachers. Teachers explained the importance of Green colour. Acts of green conveyed the message that we should not cut trees and plant more and more trees.

Our school has celebrated friendship day on 3rd August, 2019. The students enjoyed this day activity a lot. The students of class Nursery and K.G have made the greeting cards for their friends. They have tied a friendship band and hugged each other.
Students expressed their feelings by reciting a beautiful poem based on friendship. The assembly concluded with a mime dance which portrayed the bond of friendship. At the end, words of wisdom were shared with the students by the Principal and teachers.

Goodwill Public School, Uttam Nagar organized a tree plantation activity on the 29th of July, 2019 observing the Vanmahotsav in the school premises.
The celebrations started with special assembly. The Principal addressed the students and shared her valuable thoughts with them. The students of Playgroup planted saplings with their class tags and resolved to take care of the trees and mother earth. They also shared the names of their plants and their benefits with the Principal and the teachers.
Christmas Day Celebrated At Goodwill Public School
There was Christmas day celebration in our school, it was very nice. All small children dressed like Santa and Angel. The students who dressed like Santa went to all classrooms to distribute the candies, All were very happy. Children danced and played together and everyone enjoyed the day. It was joyful and happy moment for all.
Trinity College Of London Conducted A Event Activity At Goodwill Public School
Trinity English language activity was done on 07/02/2019. In this activity our all three branches had participated Miss Lorna and Bani was the chief guest of this activity.
The main aim of this activity was to develop the interest of students in English language. All the students performed poem, drama, play etc. in this activity which was totally based on English language. All the students performed very well they enjoyed a lot they were honored through the medals by the Trinity College London.
Fruits And Vegetables Event At Goodwill Public School
The activity was done on 21/11/2018. The students of Goodwill public School had a vegetable activity. The teacher explained about the vegetables, their colors & taste. Thought different color object, we taught them. We also told the students which vegetable is used as salad by cutting the salad and this salad was given to students to eat. It was fun filled activity. The children were very excited & enjoyed a lot.
