How New Methodology Provides Unique Views of the Sun

Have you ever imagined how the mysterious magnetic field or about its effect on Earth's atmosphere? To satisfy everyone’s curiosity the scientists at the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research have done a research.

The scientists are preparing to organize an array of technologies and methodologies to gain unprecedented views of the sun. The team of specialized experts will also work on observation by the layman sky watchers and students. The scientists stated that the total solar eclipse across the United States is an exclusive opportunity in current times. This methodology will enable the entire country to be engrossed through modern technology and social media.

Carrie Black, program director in NSF's Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences, added that this is going to be a unique experiment. Additionally, for this research images and data from millions of people will be collected and analyzed by scientists for years to come. NASA lead scientist for the 2017 Eclipse, Madhulika Guhathakurta, stated that this is going to be a generational event and also will be most documented and the most appreciated, eclipse ever.
