Impact of Lightning on Mother Nature

Scientists from one of the nation’s federal laboratories are working on the simulated lightning to know the effects of lightning. Soon the researchers will complete a project on lightning effects that will answer several questions such as how everything from nuclear weapon components to entire creation impacts the nature.

The researchers are working and observing the kind of electromagnetic pressure that is generated while safety- wiring is exposed to currents. Such currents would be interchangeable to a lighting strike or as much as 200 kilo Amps

Larry Schneir, a researcher stated that the team is working on the physics of lightning. The team wants to make sure the high- flow of energy released by a sock does not affect the sensitive areas of the nuclear weapon.

The process of lightning starts with a sudden electrostatic discharge during an electronic storm between electronically charged state of cloud.
