Indian Female Hockey Team Eye World Cup 2018 Berth

Indian female hockey team has achieved success via crossing second round of Hockey World League and qualifying for the Hockey World League semi-final. Now the team is ready to fly for the five-match Test series against New Zealand, which starts on May 14 in Midlands. The female hockey team, led by Ritu Rani, includes young and talented players such as Sushila Chanu, Rani and Deep Grace Ekka among others.
The Indian team has also originated new drag-flickers in Gurjit Kaur, young Reena Khokhar. Besides them, one of the team players Udita will be making her debut in Midlands. The players have stated that this time the game will be different as they have innovative strategies. Additionally, team fitness, man to man marking and new techniques will add more stars in their victory, said the players.
The team players have also stated that playing five times against a higher ranked team like New Zealand will help them to understand their weak points and will give them a fair chance of improvement.
