Wrestler Shushil kumar has been awarded twice in Olympic Games.

This time his name has been recommended for Padma Bhushan which is known as the India’s highest civilian awards.

The invitation has come from the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). His name has been nominated along with a female wrestler Alka Tomar and Dronacharya awardee Yashvir Singh.

Sushil has already written his name in the list of Indian history by achieving Khel Ratna Award. Along with Khel Ratna, he has been granted with Gold medals in World Championships games as well as in Commonwealth games.

Sushil kumar said in an interview, that award will also bring responsibility on him and he will feel proud that the whole nation loves him. In the meantime, Vinod Tomar WFI assistant secretary said all three names were selected two months back.
