Seven Indian firms have made it to the latest list of Fortune 500, world’s biggest corporations in terms of revenue. Walmart topped the global ranking.
Indian Oil Corps secured the highest position among Indian firms, with 161st rank. Private gems and jewellery major, Rajesh Exports has made its debut at 423rd position.
Out of the 7 companies, 4 are from the public sector. Among the private sectors, Reliance Industries was top-ranked, followed by Tata Motors and Rajesh Exports.
Reliance India Limited went down from 158th to 215th rank. Bharat Petroleum slipped from 280th to 358th this year and Hindustan Petroleum is at 367th, down from 327th.
