The challenges of mismanagement among youth opportunities are identified already by our government. The steps have been established to transfer the workforce into a pool of skilled youth for great results. It is often particularly applicable for members of the lower-income strata including the unorganized labour like daily wage workers. The number of measures that are taken by the govt already are skill-specific and aimed towards developing a talented workforce within the coming years. Leveraging these programmes, the youth can earn decent and secure employment opportunities. The famous 'Make in India' initiative aims to develop working skills among the Indian youth resulting in job creation.
The govt has also found out a Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship to reinforce the talents of the youth and set more entrepreneurship opportunities. The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas is that the critical program under the ministry that focuses on youth to require up skill-based training. A number of the well-known skilling programs initiated by the govt include the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana, National Urban Livelihoods Mission, and therefore the National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
While some measures are there for skilling the youth of India at different levels, there is a question that more such initiatives are needed to shut for India’s skill deficit. Ranging from distinguished policies and methods to overhauling the education system, we would like to think before our time to make more job opportunities for the youth. More focus shall sight on career guidance, life-skills, technical skills, vocational education, and training schemes – both in government and personal sectors.
