Maqbool Fida Husain was one of the famous artists. Born in a Sulaymani Bohra family, Husain learned the technique of calligraphy while he stayed at a Madrasa in Baroda. After that, he attended the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy School of Art in Mumbai to enhance his skills.
Sayed Haider Raza was a famous artist. He was born in Babaria, Narsinghpur district, Madhya Pradesh After high school. After completing his studies from India he travelled across Europe and continued to live and exhibit his work in Paris. He was later awarded the Prix de la critique in Paris in 1956. In the same year, he became the first non-French artist to receive the honour.
