Understanding the 'Tech' In EduTech

The combination of education and technology is called Edutech. The actual meaning EduTech is Education Technology. It consists of new-age implementation in the classroom. Technology has come a long way. And now it needs to add quality in the Education department as well. For the past decade, technology has changed our lives in various ways. It not only helped us do our daily chores easily but now it has become an integral part of human life. We take the help of technology in the workplace, in our house, and other places. Technology has given birth to various career choices for the youth of our world. Technological advancements have transformed our lives in completely different directions. Then why compromise in the education department. Technology has made its way in the classroom of the students as well. Starting from digital blackboards to classroom tablets, projector screens, online study materials and a lot more are some of its examples.

Technology was making the life of students very easy in different departments till 2019. After that year it has transformed into a whole different system. Since lockdown was imposed, students were unable to attend their classes. Even though the children were unable to get out of their homes it didn't stop technology from making its way in their lives. Through the help of advancement of technology. The quality of education could be sustained. It gives birth to online classes, assignments, and a lot more. This saves the time of the students and gives them a way to carry on their education. After the pandemic hit, technology has played an important role in education.

Why is Edutech important?

Survey says that there has been a surge of technology in education since the year 2017. Schools and higher education systems started to adopt technology even more than before. A report said that global investments in Edtech companies reached $8.15 billion in the year 2017. The biggest proof of the importance of Edutech is the massive use of the Internet in schools and other learning centers.

● Technology presents more opportunities for the students of today's generation. Technology is allowing students to connect globally with others. National and International competitions have become very easy for the students.
● Technology and the Internet give a variety of exposure and visibility to the students.
● A huge amount of information and knowledge can be gained by technology.
● Technology has changed the architecture of learning. It provides personalized training programs that automatically understand a child's point of view and adjusts itself according to it.
● Technology in education creates efficient learning, and cost-cutting helps a student to access a more liberal experience.
