All About World Humanitarian Day

Have you ever heard about such day, but it actually exists, world humanitarian day is celebrated every year on 19 August. The unique Day as the name suggests is directed towards honoring the efforts especially the humanitarian efforts worldwide and focuses on propagating some great ideas. Among those great ideas one major aspect incorporates thought of supporting people in crisis and need. On this day, OCHA, which stands for UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs advocates to the whole world on behalf of the entire humanitarian community of people.
World Humanitarian Day 2019 is now set to celebrate Women Humanitarians this time and their continuous and undying contribution which has really made the world a better place to live. They believe that women play a vital role in making the world a better place. Women Humanitarians strongly holds a sense of unparalleled uniqueness. This will in turn add the global momentum of female strength, power and perseverance. This will create an epitome for recognition of efforts of women sector. It is now the time when women need to be honored especially such women who respond and act as first responders whenever it is a crisis.
World humanitarian day 2019 focuses on women. This year’s campaign is dedicated on Women Humanitarians and supports the recognition that today era women deserve in the strengthening of global humanitarian response and this will ultimately lead in protection efforts that come under the international law.
This August 19 everyday life rituals will be used to showcase and to cast the contrast of what our humanitarians face and encounter on a day to day basis. If one would map moments of everyday life that are against women humanitarians across the world, these women’s who are special have experiences that would seem all the more relatable and real.
Let us all support this World Humanitarian Day in honoring those women who with their dedication have tirelessly improved countless lives and who showcase their incredible strength along the way.
