Australia To Declare Their Innings Earlier, Wishes Shoaib Akhtar
Editorials News | Dec-02-2019
Pakistan bowlers were failures in the front of the Australian cricketer David Warner. The opening batsman presented the patience needed to play the longest format. The hapless fast bowlers of visitors were not able to break his austerity in the field.
David Warner scored unbeaten 335 runs in the day-night Test match in Adelaide. He became the second player to score a triple century under the light after Azhar Ali. The left-hand batsman was full in action.
Apart from Shaheen Afridi, all other Pakistan bowlers failed to take at least a wicket
Shaheen Afridi was only the successful Pakistan bowler to pick three wickets of the host in the second Test match. The debutant Muhammad Musa picked the wicket of David Warner but unfortunately, it was a no-ball. Pakistan bowlers were clueless and their silly mistakes proved to be expensive.
Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is disappointed with the bowler’s performances in Australian soil. He wished that Australia declared their innings earlier because he believed that the bowlers would not able to pick the wicket.
However, Australia declared the innings at 589 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. As usual, like the first Test match, Pakistan batsmen lost regular wickets as the team was crawling at 96 runs at the loss of six wickets. The captain Azhar Ali was also ineffective in the field. Only Babar Azam as the batsman showed the temperament to play the Test cricket.
