Bajrang Punia Wins In The Debut Match at German League

While India features multiple wrestling stars, the current highlight is Bajrang Punia. He had been reported to make a debut win in very famous Germany's Professional Wrestling league. Punia following his bout with a fascinating win against the Cuba's Alejandro Valdes Tobier that too by a big difference of 17-2. Bajrang, who had taken part in the 67kg category make in the German wrestling league, is the first Indian ever to participate in this enthusiastic league in any category.
Becoming the first Indian wrestler to be the part of the German league, Bajrang Punia had made a recorded debut in the league against Cuba's Alejandro Valdes Tobier by Knocking him out with a 17-2 margin. He was coming up for the VFK 07-Schifferstdat in the first of the two leg of the final of the league against the SV Germania Weingarten, Bajrang displayed a remarkable agility and through his enjoyable moves he this thrashed his opponent at every slot and thus ends up the historical first leg of final in 67 kg category and winning the competition by such a huge margin. While Punia's personal coach, Bentinidis, who is a Georgian, had played an important role in getting Bajrang to participate in this fascinating league making him the first Indian to be it's part. However through this German league, Bajrang Punia is preparing and putting himself into practice for the upcoming tournaments so as to qualify for the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics. After the winning match he thanked his coach Shako Bentinidis for helping him to be the part of the tournament. He quoted that I am very happy to get off with a winning start in the German wrestling league thereby becoming the first Indian player to be it's part. It was a great moment to win my debut bout. I am thankful to my coach Bentinidis for his support. He further said that till now his performance in the year 2019 has been notable and he is looking forward to maintain it. He has been putting his best efforts at training so as to repeat the winning knock of 2018. The upcoming tournament in 2019 is the World Championship, which is one of the main wrestling tournament, but before that he will be featuring in the Asian Championship. He currently will head towards Ruse in Bulgaria to be the part of the Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov International Wrestling Tournament that is going to be held from February 28 to March 3.
