Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is a scheme launched by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim is to promote girl education and to give gender equality among girls and boys. This was started in the year 2015. The meaning of this slogan is to save girl child and make them study. In many rural areas, girls are thought of as useless, their education was not promoted and were said to do household work, look after their siblings, clean, etc. Some types of discrimination were like girls are made for households only. People also thought that spending money on girls for studying is a  wastage. If they went to school they were allowed to sit near the doors. Their work was considered low. Girls were not given proper food also. They were malnourished and were treated like a home maid. In many rural and too in urban areas girls are killed thinking that they are not of any use. After 2015 villagers got inspired by the scheme and promoted girl education, made proper schools, educated teachers. A village in Rajasthan plants 111 trees when a girl child is born, thinking of gender equality. We are seeing girl education because of our respected PM. This also ensures no inequality and discrimination. Girls are now qualified and are in good jobs which were earlier considered men’s work. Girls are now doctors, engineers, scientists, etc. All this is possible because of our Prime Minister Modi. Besides this in some part girls are still not given proper education.
