Bilateral, Triangular Series for Blind Cricketers

The duo labourers innovated blind cricket in the year 1922 in Melbourne. It's a sport reshaped for visually impaired. The sport is led by the World Blind Cricket Council since 1996. 

Up to this time, around five world cups have turn out. The initial world cup had happened in New Delhi in the year 1998. After a gap of four years the match took place in Chennai, then in Islamabad in 2006 and lastly in 2018 in India. In 2012, the foremost T20 blind world cup was supported by Bangalore. Recently, Cricket Association for Blind in India and Samarthanam has organized bilateral and triangular cricket series. It is expected to start from 2nd of October across the territory. 

The competing countries are India, England and Sri Lanka. India and England are facing the first bilateral series from 2nd to 4th October at SSE Sports ground in Bangalore. The leading sponsor of the series is IndusInd Bank. Bangalore and Goa will be witnessing the triangular series of Sri Lanka. The corresponding month would spot India and Sri Lanka playing bilateral series in the nation. The period for this series is still to be disclosed. "Blind cricketers are blessed with immense potential and bilateral and triangular series is a perfect stage to display their determination' said the India's Blind Cricket Association President and leading trustee of Samarthanam.
