Cheese is the very first ingredient that comes to our mind when we think of our favourite foods like pizzas, pastas and burgers. There are numerous types of cheese which differ in flavours and textures.

Blue cheese, which is a blue-green coloured mold cheese, is one of the most commonly available cheeses in the market. The blue molds present in this cheese are due to the presence of bacteria. When this bacteria starts aging, it imparts blue colour to the cheese. Blue cheese is widely known for its health benefits, such as: The intake of blue cheese reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and helps in lowering cholesterol levels.
