The concept of reality shows commenced in the early '1990s' where the producers decided that non-famous individuals should be in the cast to play roles of various characters instead of actors of the movie industries. These types of shows have gained popularity among the youth of the countries and has connected people to experience fame and stardom at common platforms of television. The channel reality shows came up with the concept of 2000s, that was to bring sponsorships and investors to provide profitable revenue for the production and distributors of them.
Types of Reality Shows
Presently there is a variety of genres that producers support for their target audiences. Some reality shows present fictional episodes of Lives in the form of documentaries, talk shows, travel-shows competitive shows or shows of self-improvement. Fiction-based shows are more appreciated among adults and youth. Whereas, the category of non-fiction-based or fiction-based programs is generally in support by teenagers.
The non-fictional shows carry out a large part of creativity and imagination which gradually inspires or influence the minds of the viewers. No matter what type of category, a show tends to portray, mm shows plays a large part in influencing society.
With the help of reality television-industry, many people tend to find motivation and inspiration to commit something that they wanted to try for a long time. These types of reality shows provide entertainment and information to individuals and often gives a message to people to collaborate towards kindness. With collaborative efforts of one and other reality shows sometimes provide inspiring benefits to people who still are stuck in struggling to get basic amenities for their survival. Thus, reality shows are a big platform to voice for good!
However, all good things come with some drawbacks and consequences too . Either fiction or nonfiction reality shows have always been a great delight to watch in past times. But something which is in excess always results in disruptions. Similarly, reality tv shows also affect human psychology negatively when keeping an eye for the time. With the help of the internet, one can watch reality shows whenever they want to on prescribed applications as allotted to their shows. With these initiatives, a lot of content has accessed two children and teenagers that sometimes ought to be e dangerous and provoking. With constant changes in society and its grounds, there are still rooms of conflicts left that tends to two boys about their cultures and traditions about their cultures and traditions. According to disclaimers provided before the shows commence, still many reality shows present inappropriate content on OTT platforms. It has been observed in the past decades that the wave of modernization has been destroying the cultural values and morals of Indian society by supporting foreign content cultures in India. Parenting has also been affected by reality shows as researches claim that that influence behaviour of reality shows personalities is becoming uncontrollable for parents to provide children extensive knowledge and morals before choosing the right shows for them.
